Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, one of the first things to be abolished by the new Russian leadership was media censorship. Under Vladimir Putin, press freedom has since suffered.

Very interesting. Hope you will in a future story visit a Russian mainstream media and show in what ways they are not free, and how exactly are the censored. Also be interesting for me to see what students in Russian journalism schools think about the subject. Good job and good luck!
