11 years ago, Yaakov Baruch, a native of Indonesia, discovered he was Jewish. Practicing Judaism invites strong scrutiny in Indonesia. Undeterred, Baruch became the de facto rabbi of Manado and made it a mission to inform other Indonesians of their Jewish roots.
